Dr. Richard Gong
Breast Imaging Specialist
Dr. Gong completed fellowship training in breast imaging at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Prior to this, Dr. Gong completed a diagnostic radiology residency at University of Rochester Medical Center and an internal medicine internship at North Shore University Hospital. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed undergraduate studies at Duke University, with a concentration in cell and molecular biology.
Dr. Gong’s professional interests are focused specifically around the various ways MRI and ultrasound can be used to support breast health care. During his career, Dr. Gong has presented on these topics at various professional events, including the Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America.
Dr. Gong is a current member of the Society of Breast Imaging, the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
